Sunrise

Sunny Hi 115 Lo 88 for Baghdad, Iraq
Partly Sunny Hi 94 Lo 77 for NKY, USA

Song of the week: Sunrise, Norah Jones

I love this song... I wish I had learned how to play an instrument as a kid... I wish I could sing... but alas, I will just sit back and listen and enjoy...

I don't really have much to write about on this hot humid Sunday... stay cool... drink plenty of fluids... wear sunblock... blah blah blah...

We bought a new car...

Kinda cute, huh? It is a 2005 Jeep Liberty Ltd... (for those that know me...completely predictable, I know... but, I think we shocked everyone by buying a new car... thanks Terry for the helping hand)

Kamae... I hope you had a wonderful birthday!!! I can hardly believe you are now 7!!! You are growing up so fast... I love you!My niece Kamae and my nephews Caleb and Cory.

Happy Anniversary to Susie and Sam. Is it lucky 13? Susie is even more beautiful today. I am lucky to have her as a sister in law-- for lots of reasons....mainly because she has such a big heart... and she has a really big tiara... but mine is probably bigger... And look at Sam! He is so young in this photo! You should see him now... Much more distinguished today... graying hair.... and catching the bad guys... I love you both.

Angie - I hope you had a great birthday!

I think today I'm going to wash my new car... do a little gardening... go see my grandparents... my cousin Chuck is in town, so I'll visit with him... let Michael sleep... just take it easy...

Sgt. O'Rourke... welcome home... enjoy these two weeks.

Don't forget this Saturday-- 7/30. Susan needs your prayers.

A reminder why our men and women in uniform need our support personally and for the mission.

Thunder 6 gives us an idea of what torture looks like... So, put a sock in it about Gitmo... I'm sick and tired of hearing you whine about it... It has become a mantra like "Halliburton"... blah blah blah!!!

Military Blog of the week: Michael Yon This guy is brilliant-- An amazing read, intense first hand accounts of what our guys are doing.

This was sent to me by a very reliable source. Tom Cruise follows the Dark Side of the Force. This video is quite disturbing...

Have a great week everyone.
