Feedback - The Next Superhero?

So, the season finale of Who Wants to be a Superhero? was on last night.....

[heavy sigh] It was anticlimactic at best....

Feedback is the next Stan Lee superhero (and there was much rejoicing..... yayyyyy.......).

So, this is what I learned... Feedback's secret identity is Matthew Atherton... an actor.... but his bio says he is a software engineer.... hmmmmm..... He has appeared on Malcolm in the Middle, NCIS and a couple of other shows... definitely not enough to make a living, but now I understand his true aspiration...

Lemuria aka Tonatzin Mondragon is also apparently an aspiring actress even though her bio says she is an artist sculptor....

And finally my favorite, Major Victory- aka Christopher Watters is a DJ-- we know he was a male stripper in a previous life... and he too is an aspiring actor... He has appeared on the daytime dramas.... Passions and Days of Our Lives.... night time.... CSI... He is a pretty boy, isn't he?

So, what does all this mean? It means that for 6 consecutive Thursday nights I was entertained by a "reality" show and it was strictly for amusement... no great lessons.... it was just television....

Lesson learned.... I'll stick to the Discovery, History and TLC channels... oh... and The Office on Thursday nights... the new season starts 9/21... What is going to happen between Pam Beesley and Jim Halpert? The anticipation....

Everybody in California is an aspiring actor. I almost landed a job once dubbing Japanese cartoons into English.

That whole show looked way too scripted to me. That's why I watched it on Tivo. I fast-forwarded through about 50% of it.

It was a fun idea that eventually went right into the dumper. I feel as if Stan and SciFi tried to pull a fast one on me. If it comes back for a second season, I will not be tuning in.

As for the Discovery Channel. . well, I liked them much better before they got into bed with the New York Times.
