Song of the week: Lonely People, America>
I can't say that I was a huge fan of America as a kid. In the 70's I think their songs were always on the radio and there is something comforting in that. I seem to recall seeing them on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert or possibly on Midnight Special when I was babysitting... This came from a time when the music was pretty and the musicians... not so much... but, wow... they could sing... live... The music is melodic, the words are familiar. Enjoy.
Here is another pretty song by America - Ventura Highway.
Ramble:
I haven't had much to write about. I'm in a funk- not depressed... I would'nt call it sad either... So much is going on in real life, demons rearing their ugly little heads... Things discovered that I didn't know. My mind is reeling from all the information that has been shared. I just don't have the energy to write about anything. Let's just say my brief blog bio is a real struggle... "I'm forever a pessimist, but doing my best to change that." Pessimism is oozing from every pore of my being. I gotta snap out of this...
Blogs and Links to Check Out This Week:

My tribute to Marion Britton last year was something that had an impact on my life that was completely unexpected. I think about her everyday. Everyday. If you participated last year, I encourage you to do so again. If you did not participate last year, I ask you to consider writing a tribute this year. I promise you, it will be one of the most meaningful posts you will ever write. If you don't have your own blog, I will be happy to post it here.

Have a great week everyone!
