Song of the week: Dancing Queen, Abba -----> this links to an Abba blog........... I had no idea there was that much to blog about Abba...

When I'm feeling blue... nothing makes me smile more than ABBA... I don't know when their tunes became so catchy... I'm not even sure when and how I learned all the words to all their songs... Is there some sort of mechanism in the brain that switches over to "dork" at a certain age and then all of a sudden you like crap music and Abba suddenly becomes one of your all time favorite bands?? Yes... yes, I have admitted here in this forum on prior occasions that I am a closet ABBA fan... deal with it. We all have our crosses to bear...

Ramble:

I'm not interested in blogging tonight. But, let me share this with you... There is a guy at work... I don't care for him. I think he is under qualified for the job he has been given. In addition to that... well... he kinda looks like a caveman... so whenever he walks by I play the song Remind Me by Royksopp. Is that mean and childish?

Have a great week everyone!

I like Abba also. I don't know when it happened. Maybe you had something to do with it. Who knows? I my defense, I don't actually OWN any Abba. . but I don't change the station if it comes on the radio or satellite. . and I may linger a little longer if it is playing in a store.

That cracked me up! Yes you can be a little mean but at least you are creative. Who plays Royksopp? Really? Unlikely anyones feelings will get hurt and you still get to enjoy your evil jollies! Everybody wins! Woo Hoo! Truly mean and childish would be to announce something like, "Hey caveboy! Listen up 'cause this song goes out to you!"

I dont think its either or a question of.....just your way of entertaining yourself and deterring your mind from that fact that he does not belong there. Other than that, just wanted to see how you were doing and wish you Good Morning!

Rob, You know me all too well. Back in the old days, this would have been something that would have us both secretly cracking up. You would be at the copier doing really bad doctored photos to go along with the soundtrack... I miss those days.

Jerry, Everyone is doing as good as can be expected. Adriaan had a zest for life and would not want all of us feeling sad. Last night I designed the invitation cards for the Celebration of Life Memorial we will be having the end of this month. I'm taking it to my mom in law today and having brunch with her to pick the menu for the memorial. Thanks for stopping in and checking on us.

To say ABBA was a main staple of my growing up - huge understatement. Especially this song.

Thanks for the memories.
